Research 2: Horror

1. Cockroaches

Coackroaches gross me out more than any other inspect, especially a pile of them.

2. Flames

The idea of anything burning frightens me; I used to have nightmares about fires. Add a scary face with burning flesh to the fire and its especially frightening.

3. Shadows

This image is spooky because there is just enough light to see a mysterious figure walking towards the camera, but the face is not visible and the intentions of the figure are unknown. There is a lot of contrast in the photo, adding to the mystery.

4. Open-mouthed snake

I have always hated snakes, especially large ones like boa constrictors that strangle their prey or the kind that swallow their prey whole. I don't like their scaly flesh, sneaky, slithering bodies, or their mouths that open abnormally wide for the size of their face. This snake with its mouth wide open, ready to attack, seems perfect for a horror advertisement.

5. Zombies

Zombies are a classic horror film staple. They are hideous, flesh-eating creatures coming back from the dead. These particular zombies have sharp claws for fingers and fangs so large they take up their face; it appears that they have no other facial features.

Now that I am done making this blog I am sure I will have nightmares about everything I just posted, especially the snakes and the zombies.
